We focused on short-wave radiation because it doesn&amp;rsquo;t mess around—it hits the glue line almost instantly.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Power Side of Things&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here is the thing about the electricals: you can&amp;rsquo;t eyeball it. These lamps use high-wattage quartz to handle those massive veneer panels, but your voltage and wattage have to be a perfect match for your transformer.&#xA;If they&amp;rsquo;re off, you&amp;rsquo;re looking at two bad options. Either the glue doesn&amp;rsquo;t cure properly, or you blow the filament way sooner than you should. Plus, while high power density means you can crank out more panels per hour, it&amp;rsquo;s tough on your electrical contacts. Just make sure your wiring can actually handle the peak current. Nobody wants a voltage drop right in the middle of a production run.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Built to Last (Mostly)&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use high-purity quartz glass because these things go through a lot of thermal shock as they cycle on and off. To stop the glass from getting that cloudy, dark look over time, we fill the filaments with halogen. This keeps the heat flowing freely.&#xA;Most of our units use R7s or SK15 connectors. They fit tight, but do yourself a favor:**check the tension of those clips when you install them.**A loose connection creates a tiny arc, and that&amp;rsquo;s the fastest way to melt a socket.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Real-World Trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;The upside is huge. You get almost immediate heat, which means your press spends less time warming up and more time actually working. Your throughput goes up. Your footprint stays small.&#xA;But let&amp;rsquo;s be honest about the downside: quartz is fragile. These tubes aren&amp;rsquo;t built for a beating. If you hit them or even get some oily fingerprints on the glass, it creates a &amp;ldquo;hot spot&amp;rdquo; that can cause the tube to rupture.&#xA;It happens.
